This is our story.

 Sonny was born in Texas.
Claire was born in Brooklyn and went to college at St. Edward's, here in Austin.

We met while  working high-end construction in Manhattan.  After starting a family,  we decided Austin was the place to raise our daughter.

With over over fifty years of combined experience in the construction industry,   we took what we learns and established Distinctive Wood Crafts in 2004.  Our goal was and still is providing the best service & quality to every client.

Opening a cabinet shop was Sonny's dream.
We hope we can make your cabinet dreams come true too!
